Idaho Higher-Education Institutions

College Planning

  • Big Future by College Board offers college planning and preparation information for student and their families. 
  • KnowHow2Go assists students and their families plan and prepare for college from middle school to high school graduation.

Savings Plans

  • The Idaho College Savings Program allows families to save for the cost of a college education, and encourages extended family and friends to contribute as well.

State Financial-Aid Programs

  • The Idaho State Board of Education offers a list of scholarships.  
  • Through the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program, students in certain programs of study may enroll in two-and four-year public institutions in participating states at reduced rates.

Important: To qualify for federal and state financial aid, you must file the FAFSA. To ensure priority consideration for Idaho state scholarships and grants, your FAFSA must be submitted by March 1.
