USA Funds Updates Fact Sheet to Assist With Tax Return-Related FAFSA Questions 

USA Funds^® has updated its document that helps you assist parents and students in answering tax return-related questions on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

The fact sheet “2011 Federal Tax Return: Eligible to File a 1040A/EZ?” is available for download from the USA Funds website.

Financial aid professionals also may use the information in updating applicants’ answers to the questions during verification, performing professional judgment, resolving conflicting information, or determining whether a student or family qualifies for the simplified or auto-zero Expected Family Contribution calculation.
