A new infographic shows how USA Funds® Life Skills® is continuing to move the needle on financial literacy and student success.
The infographic offers a visual snapshot of the impact that USA Funds Life Skills is having on college campuses across the country. Nearly 94 percent of students reported an intent to change a behavior as a result of taking a USA Funds Life Skills lesson.
A survey offered immediately after students complete a USA Funds Life Skills lesson asks students about their plans to use what they learned. In their responses, 24,265 students indicated intent to change in at least one behavior.
Students also rated the likelihood that they would use tools and information provided in the USA Funds Life Skills lessons at an average of 4.2 on a scale in which 5 designates “very likely.”
USA Funds Life Skills is a Web-based financial literacy and student success program that helps students learn to manage their money and time wisely while in school and after graduation. The curriculum includes 33 lessons that cover a range of topics, including:
- Paying for college.
- Managing student loans.
- Managing money and credit.
- Living on a budget.
- Setting goals.
- Preparing for graduation.
- Balancing school and personal life.
