Learning Mangement System Account Management

Creating a learning account

The system requires new users to complete a simple, one-time registration process. Once you complete the initial registration process, only your username and password are required for future visits.
1. Click the Request a new account link.
2. Enter your school email address for the username.
3. Complete the remaining fields. Enter your eight-digit OPEID code without dashes.
4. Click the Create account button in the lower right corner.

Enrolling in a training event

1. Log in to your learning account from www.usafundstraining.org.
2. Click Catalog in the left navigation.
3. Click Instructor Led Classes under the All Types header.
4. Locate the training event in the Catalog.
  • Note: You may wish to use the Search function at the top and enter “webcast,” “workshop,” the training topic or the location to find your training event.
5. Click the blue, hyperlinked title of the training event.
6. Click the Enroll in this Class button in the bottom right corner of the page.
7. An Enrollment Successful screen appears.
8. Click the Close Record button in the top right corner of the page and log off of the system.
9. You will receive an enrollment confirmation email that includes an iCal appointment and additional information for accessing the training event. Save the iCal appointment to your calendar by double-clicking the attachment and accepting the appointment.

Launching a webcast once you have registered (20-30 minutes prior to the webcast)

From the iCal appointment

1. Open the iCal appointment from your calendar.
2. Click on the Web address for the training session in the iCal appointment.
3. Log in to your learning account.
4. Click on the blue, hyperlinked title of the training event in the WebEx Sessions section toward the bottom of the page.
5. The webcast will open in a new window.

From your learning account

1. Log in to your learning account from www.usafundstraining.org.
2. Locate the training event in the My Learning section on the right side of the Home page and click on the blue, hyperlinked title.
3. Click on the blue, hyperlinked title of the training event in the Class Name section toward the bottom of the page.
4. The webcast will open in a new window.

Accessing training documents

From your learning account

1. Log in to your learning account from www.usafundstraining.org.
2. Locate the training event in the My Learning section on the right side of the Home page and click on the blue, hyperlinked title.
3. Click on the blue, hyperlinked document name listed in the Course Activities section at the bottom of the page.
4. Click Open in the pop-up window.
5. The file will open in a new window.

From the iCal appointment

1. Open your iCal appointment from your calendar.
2. Click on the Web address for the training session in the iCal appointment.
3. Log in to your learning account.
4. Click on the blue, hyperlinked document name listed in the Course Activities section at the bottom of the page.
5. Click Open in the pop-up window.
6. The file will open in a new window.
