Education-loan-industry veteran helps ensure high-quality service

USA Funds Names Lender-Relations Manager

INDIANAPOLIS — USA Funds®, the nation's leading education-loan guarantor, has announced the appointment of a longtime student-loan service professional to work specifically with education lenders. As manager, Lender Relations, Elaine C. Yednak will determine the needs and monitor the education-loan service satisfaction of national and regional education lenders and those serving the eight states for which USA Funds is the designated guarantor of federal education loans.

Yednak has more than 20 years of experience in education lending and financial services, having served in customer-service, marketing, operations and compliance positions. She returns to USA Funds after eight years with PNC Bank in Pittsburgh, where she most recently was vice president, Marketing. During her nine previous years with USA Funds, Yednak worked in compliance and processing positions. She holds a bachelor's degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

"We are pleased to appoint to this new position an experienced and motivated customer-relations expert," said Denise B. Feser, USA Funds' vice president, Customer Relations. "Elaine will ensure that lenders relying on the USA Funds guarantee continue to receive the very best service available in the student-loan program."

One of Yednak's initial responsibilities will be to convene a June 13-14 lender forum that will focus on current education-lending issues and trends. USA Funds is sending its lender-customers additional information about the event.
