USA Funds Consejos

USA Funds Consejos provides Latino middle school students and their families more complete information about the value of a postsecondary education, the education options available to them, and the availability of financial aid. The program is free and customizable.

USA Funds Consejos presents the story of brothers Robbie and David Chavez and their family, as they plan for their future, in a telenovela format. Their experiences shared on the 40-minute DVD provide a springboard for discussion and activities designed to help students along the path to a postsecondary education.

The complete USA Funds Consejos kit comes with a meeting-planning guide that makes it easy to plan, prepare and facilitate this program. The kit also provides workbooks, pens and other items to encourage students to continue to think about and plan for their futures.
