Associate Director of Financial Aid, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey

Sandra Schurig Rollins received a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University and earned a master’s degree in educational administration from Rider University. She is a member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, the New Jersey Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine.

As a financial-aid administrator, Schurig Rollins noticed that the increase in student-loan debt incurred at the undergraduate and professional-school levels has created a unique opportunity to discuss debt management with students. In addition to her financial-aid job-related responsibilities, Schurig Rollins takes advantage of the opportunity to teach her students basic budgeting skills.
