Operations BulletinTotal-and-Permanent-Disability Loan-Discharge Application Approved The U.S. Department of Education issued the newly approved application for education-loan discharge due to total-and-permanent disability. In Dear Colleague Letter GEN-06-14, the Department notes that Office of Management and Budget approved the Loan Discharge Application: Total and Permanent Disability with no changes. The letter also provides guidance regarding the implementation of the new form, whose expiration date is May 31, 2008. The form is available for immediate use.
