2005-2006 ISIR-Translation Utility Available

USA Funds^® customers now can download the 2005-2006 Institutional Student Information Record-translation utility.

The 2005-2006 ISIR-translation utility will translate 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 Title IV Wide-Area Network ISIR Data into the National Council of Higher Education Loan Program's CommonLine Version 4 and Release 5 file formats. The utility can translate single or multiple ISIR files into a single CommonLine file.

Schools can use the utility as a stand-alone product or with the WhizKid electronic loan-application process to import the CommonLine file needed for updating the WhizKid database. The 2005-2006 ISIR Translation Utility also will be included in the WhizKid 10.0 release, in spring 2005.

You can download the 2005-2006 ISIR Translation Utility from the File Transfer Service Web page of USA Funds' guarantor-service provider, Sallie Mae. You will need to download the following files to install the new ISIR Utility successfully:

• 2005-2006 ISIR-translation utility (ISIR Setup.exe.).
• 2005-2006 ISIR-translation-utility-installation instructions (ISIR Install Instruct.doc).
• 2005-2006 ISIR-translation-utility reference guide (ISIR Reference Guide.doc).

System requirements for the download are as follows:

• 5 MB of hard-drive space.
• Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
