USA Funds Staffer on Committee Receiving NASFAA State Award

Vicky Keller, a USA Funds^® customer relations manager, is among those honored at the recent national conference of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

Keller is a member of the Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators committee that received NASFAA’s State Award for Service to Advance Access and Diversity. FASFAA’s Early Awareness Outreach Committee earned the award for its Foster Youth College Access brochure.

The group received the award at NASFAA’s conference in July.

The brochure aims to communicate the basics of college access — with particular emphasis on financial aid and changes in the 2009-2010 independent student definition affecting foster youth. The FASFAA committee collaborated on the project with a variety of organizations that assist foster youth in Florida. The group distributed the newsletter electronically and in print.

Keller is USA Funds’ customer relations manager for Florida.
