2Futuro Offers Online Application for Spanish-Speaking Students, Parents

USA Funds® offers a new online tool to schools with growing Hispanic populations. A joint initiative of USA Funds and Sallie Mae, 2Futuro is the only Spanish-first, bilingual loan program with dedicated customer-service support to students, parents and financial-aid administrators.

The benefits of using 2Futuro for parents and students include:

  • An online application in Spanish that allows student- and parent-borrowers to initiate the Stafford- and PLUS-loan-application process.
    • Borrowers begin the process on the main 2Futuro Web page by following these four steps:
      • Select the state location of the school.
      • Select the school name.
      • Select the loan type.
      • Select the lender.

2Futuro online application steps

    • Borrowers complete the application process with pages translated into Spanish.

The 2Futuro information also is available in English.

2Futuro also offers the following benefits:

  • A dedicated toll-free telephone number for Spanish-speaking students and parents at (888) 2FUTURO.
  • The chance each month for eligible students and parents to win a $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship application also is available in English.
