Education Department Issues Corrected TPD Form
The U.S. Department of Education provided a corrected version of its recently issued updated total and permanent disability discharge application. In Dear Colleague Letter GEN-09-02, the Department notes that the original PDF of the form, announced in GEN-09-01, omits several words from page 4. The updated form incorporates final Title IV program regulations published on Nov. 1, TEACH Grant Program regulations published on June 23, and Higher Education Opportunity Act changes related to total and permanent disability for veterans. You will need Adobe Reader to access the letters and corrected form from the USA Funds Web site.
