Free Retention Planning Web Conference Set for April 22

retentionRTAnne Fischer, a USA Funds® debt management consultant, will join presenters from Noel-Levitz and the State University of New York for a free one-hour Web conference, “Maximizing Student Success Through Data-Driven Retention Planning.” The April 22 event will feature discussion of how to identify and prioritize retention initiatives that have the greatest impact on student success.

During the session, presenters will provide information about retentionRT, a Web-based predictive modeling tool that enhances retention efforts by combining student survey information with historical school data to identify students at risk of leaving school early.

retentionRT is a fee-based service, offered by Noel-Levitz, the nation's leading enrollment management consulting firm, in partnership with USA Funds.

Effective retention and default prevention initiatives help keep students in school, promote completion of their academic programs and encourage successful repayment of their student loans. Research shows that students who succeed in school are more likely to repay their student loan debt, thus reducing a school’s cohort default rate.

retentionRT helps enhance retention efforts by:

  • Predicting each student’s likelihood to succeed through customized statistical models.
  • Identifying areas of strength and challenge for each incoming student through Web-based surveys.
  • Providing a powerful analytical tool to examine all students for groups who need the most assistance.
  • Guiding retention planning through strategic consulting.
  • Promoting financial literacy and default prevention.

”Maximizing Student Success Through Data-Driven Retention Planning” will be from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Eastern time. The session also will include an opportunity for questions and answers. Register for the event on the Noel-Levitz Web site.
