OpenNet Tip: Using School Reference Tools

The OpenNet loan-delivery system offers online reference guides and tools to make using OpenNet easier for schools. Links to these tools are at the bottom of the school Main Menu screen.

OpenNet School Reference Tools

Schools can receive additional information about using OpenNet by accessing the following links:

  • What’s New provides school-users with information about enhancements and changes to the most-recent release of OpenNet. When the user clicks on the link, a PDF opens in a new window.
  • Web Loan Delivery User Guide offers step-by-step instructions for using the Web Loan Delivery component of OpenNet to process and administer loan data for campuses. The instructions open in a separate PDF document.
  • File Management System User Guide provides step-by-step instructions for using the File Management System to transmit loan-processing and loan-change data. The instructions open in a separate PDF document.
  • Borrower Experience Demo allows schools to see what the borrower sees when using OpenNet Web Loan Delivery. The interactive demo includes both the borrower-initiated and school-initiated process flows. It also walks the user through the e-signature process and displays the type of information that borrowers can view about their loans.
