OpenNet Online-Loan-Counseling, Login Enhancements Offer Flexibility and Ease

USA Funds^® customers can take advantage of two recent enhancements to the Online Counseling tool in the OpenNet loan-delivery system.

Counseling-query-results number available for 10 days
Each loan-counseling-results confirmation number now is available for 10 days after OpenNet creates it. Previously, these numbers to access query results were available for only 24 hours.

The change provides more flexibility for financial-aid administrators who do not download results on a daily basis.

The e-mail message containing the confirmation number notes the 10-day availability of the number.

After each number expires, financial-aid administrators still may access their counseling-results data through OpenNet’s Counseling Results Selection page.

More exportable fields for counseling results
USA Funds customers also can see new fields available for exporting into a loan-counseling report. These fields include:

• Quiz totals.
• Quiz results.
• Completion date of counseling.
• Counseling type.

These additional fields provide financial-aid administrators with a more-complete picture of each student’s loan-counseling session.
