OpenNet Enhancements Offer New Search Field, Multi-Loan View

The latest enhancements to OpenNet will give USA Funds® customers more flexibility to perform borrower Social Security-number searches. In addition, USA Funds school-customers will be able to view multiple loan details on a single OpenNet screen. Both changes will be available beginning Oct. 23, 2006.

Social Security-number search field
A new SSN-search option will display at the top of two existing OpenNet screens — Application Loan Summary and Application Loan Detail — giving users easier access to the search option. The Social Security Number-search box also will continue to display at the bottom of the screen. In addition, the SSN-search field will display on the new Multi-Loan Detail screen for USA Funds school-customers.

The top-of-page SSN-search option is available to all OpenNet Web Loan Delivery users.

Multi-loan-view screens
USA Funds will offer a new “Multi-Loan Detail” screen exclusively to its school-customers and all lender-customers that use OpenNet Web Loan Delivery. The Multi-Loan Detail screen will display both loan-summary and loan-detail information on one screen for each borrower. Both Federal Family Education Loan Program- and private-loan data will display, providing a more-complete picture of a borrower’s loan history on a single screen.

Users can navigate to the Multi-Loan Detail screen by clicking on the View Multi-Loan Details link found on the Application Loan Summary screen.
