Updated USA Funds Life Skills Student-Activity CD, Trainer’s Video Available

Redesigned versions of USA Funds^® Life Skills^®’ student-activity CD and trainer’s video for undergraduate students now are available.

The student-activity CD is designed for use with any of the first five modules of USA Funds’ award-winning financial-literacy program. Included on the CD are interactive budgeting exercises and quizzes.

The trainer’s video, formerly provided as a VHS videocassette, now is offered as a DVD. The DVD, which may be used with any of the first four modules, features interviews with students who are coping with the issues covered in each of the four modules.

Materials for modules 1-5 of USA Funds Life Skills are getting a new look, but still have the same engaging and interactive content. The student skills books, trainer’s manuals, CD-ROM and other materials that accompany these USA Funds Life Skills modules will feature the photography of real campus and student-life scenes that grace all USA Funds publications. In addition, USA Funds is updating the lists of resources and Web sites included in the initial five modules.

The redesigned student-activity CD and trainer’s DVD now are available to order online.

Updated versions of Module 1, “Get a Grip on Your Finances — Smart Spending for Students,” Module 2, “Seek out Financial Aid — Funding Resources and Financial Obligations,” and Module 3, “Work Hard but Smart — How to Be Successful in School and Graduate on Time,” also are available.

You can continue to order Module 4, “Take Control of Your Future — Finishing School and Repaying Your Loans,” and Module 5, “Now That You Are About to Graduate — Taking Control of Your Life”; these modules will be redesigned later this fall.
