USA Funds Hosts March Education Lender Forums

USA Funds^® is hosting two Education Lender Forums in March. The half-day events will help keep USA Funds’ lender-customers abreast of the latest ways to navigate the ever-changing education finance marketplace.

Forums are scheduled at the following locations:

• Kansas City, Mo. — March 11.
• San Antonio, Texas — March 12.

Featured topics of the March USA Funds Education Lender Forums include the following:

Technology Initiatives. An overview of the technology initiatives that USA Funds supports to improve education loan processes for lenders and schools. The overview will cover the following initiatives:

• USA Funds Debt Manager^®. This comprehensive Web-based communication tool makes it easy for postsecondary institutions to stay in contact with student loan borrowers to promote successful loan repayment and prevent past-due loans and default.
• USA Funds Loan Counselor^®. USA Funds designed this suite of custom counseling products to help schools fulfill all federal requirements for loan counseling and simplify Stafford loan entrance and exit counseling with one online program.

Legislative and Regulatory Update. An update on the recent changes to the Federal Family Education Loan Program, including federal student aid policies and procedures.

Each forum begins with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and concludes with lunch at noon.
