USA Funds Loan Counselor How-To: Running Counseling Reports

With exit counseling activities still in full swing, USA Funds® reminds you that USA Funds Loan Counselor® offers the ability to run reports identifying borrowers who have begun but not yet completed counseling.

USA Funds Loan Counselor is a suite of custom counseling products that help schools fulfill federal requirements for loan counseling and simplify entrance and exit counseling with one online program.

To run a counseling report identifying in-progress or completed sessions in USA Funds Loan Counselor, follow these steps:

  1. Click “Generate Reports” to open.

  2. Choose “Counseling Status” — Completed or In-progress.
  3. Select pre-defined date range from the “Counseling Date” dropdown or enter your own date range.
  4. Choose “Print Status” or “Export Status” options.
    Note: These options are relevant only for counseling that has been completed.
  5. Select the campuses to be reported.
  6. Select the counseling types to be reported.
  7. Enter a name for the report in the “Query Name” field to save the query criteria.
  8. Click “Search” to display results.
