OpenNet to Offer Updates to Lender-Update Access, View Change Explanations
New features in the OpenNet loan-delivery system will offer enhancements for USA Funds® lender-customers. These updates will be available Oct. 24, 2005.
Borrower demographic updates for lenders, lender-servicers
USA Funds’ lender- and lender-servicer-customers will have added ability to make updates within OpenNet. Along with the loan- and disbursement-level update access implemented last spring, USA Funds lender- and lender-servicer-customers can make borrower demographic updates effective Oct. 24.
Demographic items available to update include:
- First name.
- Last name.
- Middle initial.
- Date of birth.
- E-mail.
- Permanent address.
- Temporary address.
- Permanent phone number.
- Alternate phone number.
USA Funds lender- and lender-servicer-customers interested in update access in OpenNet can contact a USA Funds lender representative.
View change explanations for lenders
The “view change explanations” enhancement permits loan-processing staff to view change-explanation comments entered by users at their institutions, when they perform loan- and disbursement-level updates using OpenNet Web Loan Delivery.
Enhancements made in spring 2005 required USA Funds’ lender- and lender-servicer-customers to add explanations to change requests. The new enhancement will permit lender- and lender-servicer-users to view the change explanations that they have entered dating back to the spring enhancements.
To access the change-explanation comments, lender- and lender-servicer-users can navigate to the “Loan Activity” screen from the “Application/Loan Details” or the “Application/Loan Summary” screens.
Default cursor location for school, lender, borrower users
For Internet Explorer customers using OpenNet Web Loan Delivery or File Management System, the cursor automatically will default to the first field on the login and search screens.
