USA Funds Student Loan Transition Guide to Launch, Share Data With USA Funds Debt Manager
June 25 marks the launch of USA Funds Student Loan Transition GuideSM, the new exit-counseling component of the USA Funds Loan CounselorSM suite of customized online loan-counseling services. In addition, integration between USA Funds Debt Manager® and USA Funds Student Loan Transition Guide will streamline borrower communication.
USA Funds Student Loan Transition Guide helps fulfill all exit-counseling requirements by reviewing key information provided as part of entrance counseling, reinforcing students' rights and responsibilities as borrowers, and providing detailed loan-indebtedness information.

USA Funds Student Loan Transition Guide summarizes Stafford-, PLUS- and consolidation-loan information in one comprehensive view. The tool displays aggregated student-loan information from the Meteor network, and provides students with the option to see a complete view of total indebtedness by including information about additional loans. The exit-counseling module also provides students with repayment options and trustworthy advice that will help them make the most-informed decisions based on their own loan data. Repayment estimates — including monthly payment, interest rate and average loan terms — are graphically displayed to easily show how each option will affect repayment.
USA Funds Student Loan Transition Guide also can communicate counseling results to the school, guarantor and USA Funds Debt Manager. New data-sharing capabilities will allow for better communication with borrowers regarding their exit-counseling status. Borrower and reference information entered into USA Funds Student Loan Transition Guide automatically will update USA Funds Debt Manager online and in real time. This enhancement also provides the ability to track and report communication activity for each borrower in one data file.
USA Funds Debt Manager is a Web-based tool that helps schools communicate with borrowers and prevent student-loan defaults.
