USA Funds Loan Comparison Offers Enhanced Site to Help Students and Parents Select Education Loans

USA Funds^® Loan Comparison features the new version of SimpleTuition’s online student loan comparison tool to simplify the process of selecting an education loan.

By incorporating SimpleTuition’s new 2.0 version, USA Funds Loan Comparison now is even more user friendly and easier for parents and students to navigate.

USA Funds is offering USA Funds Loan Comparison in partnership with SimpleTuition, a company dedicated to helping students and parents make sense out of education financing choices. USA Funds Loan Comparison is an interactive tool that assists students in comparing student loan terms and selecting affordable options for paying college costs.

USA Funds Loan Comparison permits schools to offer students and parents customized sites for loan searches and comparisons, with each site specific to that school’s needs. The tool also helps schools comply with new federal regulations governing college-recommended lender lists. USA Funds Loan Comparison presents loans on an independent platform that allows schools to provide a lender list that is neutral, transparent and objective.

USA Funds Loan Comparison simplifies the process of selecting a loan by using information from the borrower to compare and analyze student loan options side by side. After students or parents answer a few questions, USA Funds Loan Comparison presents the school’s list of prospective lenders. Parents and students can sort the list by monthly payment amount, total cost of loan amount, number of payments, first payment due date, and annual percentage rate for comparison. All lender lists contain detailed information about loan pricing, borrower benefits and other important loan benefits.

Because of USA Funds’ participation, there are no fees for lenders on the lists with Stafford and PLUS loans.

Private loans also may be included on the school’s USA Funds Loan Comparison site. Fees for private loans are assessed only to lenders that are SimpleTuition partners; those lenders’ listings will include additional information and the lender’s logo. Lenders that are not SimpleTuition partners can list private loans at no charge; those listings will not include the additional information and logo.
