OpenNet Tip: Multi-Loan-View Screens Provide More-Complete Loan History
USA Funds® offers a “Multi-Loan Detail” screen exclusively to its school-customers and all lender-customers that use OpenNet Web Loan Delivery. The Multi-Loan Detail screen displays both loan-summary and loan-detail information on one screen for each borrower. The screen shows Federal Family Education Loan Program- and private-loan data, providing a more-complete picture of a borrower’s loan history on a single screen.
Users can navigate to the Multi-Loan Detail screen by clicking on the “View Multi-Loan Details” link found on the Application Loan Summary screen.
Screen information
The Multi-Loan Detail screen contains four main sections for each loan. Each section offers details about each loan.
- Loan program information provides the guarantee date, approved loan amount, loan period and CommonLine unique identifier.
- Loan details provides information about the organizations associated with the loan, such as the school, lender, guarantor and disbursing agent. In addition, this section contains the following information:
- Enrollment status.
- Grade level.
- Requested loan amount.
- Certified loan amount.
- Guaranteed amount.
- Status details provides the current status of the loan’s process based on the CommonLine definition of statuses.
- Disbursement details outlines the number of disbursements for each loan, the disbursement dates, and the disbursement status.
Users also can view a summary of the guarantee amounts for all of the borrower’s loans in the “Totals” section at the bottom of the screen. The guarantee amounts are based on schools attended and loan program.
Screen navigation
Users easily can navigate through the Multi-Loan Detail screen by using the navigation guides provided throughout the screen.
- By clicking on the loan number at the top of the page, the user can “jump” to a specific loan on the screen or to the loan “totals” at the bottom of the screen. To return to the top, simply click on “Return to Top.”
- A “View/Update” or “View Details” link on the right side of the page takes users to the “Application/Loan Details” screen to get additional details about an individual loan. The Application/Loan Details screen permits users with the rights to update loan information to make loan or disbursement changes to the loan.
