More Options, Increased Security Among Recent Enhancements to USA Funds Web Services
USA Funds® recently implemented several enhancements to its Web-based products. Below is a summary of the changes.
Increased security Security procedures for all USA Funds online applications now use a multi-factor authentication process to verify a user’s identity. The new security complies with Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. standards to protect private data in the electronic-banking environment. With the new security process, both new and existing borrower- and school-users of online applications will have an added layer of protection of their private information.
USA Funds Loan Counselor Enhancements to USA Funds Stafford Loan GuideSM, the online-entrance-counseling component of USA Funds Loan Counselor, provide more options for schools to customize the tool to fit their student demographics. The following are among the changes:
- An increase in the number of guides to seven.
- An option to customize the annual-loan-limit graph based on school type.
Other changes in USA Funds Stafford Loan Guide align the tool more closely with the USA Funds Student Loan Transition GuideSM online-exit-counseling component, including:
- Ability to create a unique reinforcement message.
- Options to create custom links within reinforcement messages.
- Options to add custom links in the entrance-counseling-completion page.
- Capability to accept school logos up to 103-by-103 pixels.
- More-frequent options to receive entrance-counseling confirmations.
OpenNet In addition, USA Funds implemented enhancements to OpenNet that are exclusive to USA Funds’ school- and lender-customers. The changes allow users to print a Notice of Loan Guarantee for individual borrowers.
