USA Funds Offers Preview of NASFAA Conference Plans
USA Funds® will ask those in attendance at the upcoming conference of the National Association of Student Financial Administrators, “How may we serve you?”
At the July 6-9 event in Orlando, Fla., USA Funds will provide information and demonstrations regarding its products and services, and will be featured in financial aid business solutions seminars.
Demonstrations, testimonials USA Funds’ exhibit booth will focus on the products and services that USA Funds offers to get results for you and your students. The booth, Number 500, also will feature student testimonials about USA Funds’ products.
The following products and services are among those to be highlighted:
- USA Funds Grad GuideSM — The new loan counseling component of the USA Funds Loan Counselor® custom counseling product is designed to address unique issues faced by students pursuing graduate and professional degree programs.
- USA Funds Life Skills® — This financial literacy program equips postsecondary institutions to teach their students to manage time and money wisely while they are in school and after graduation. Building on USA Funds Life Skills’ proven content, USA Funds soon will offer a new version that delivers the curriculum online.
USA Funds will provide print materials focusing on USA Funds Life Skills and USA Funds Loan Counselor. Additionally, USA Funds will share materials about the Web-based communication tool USA Funds Debt Manager®, the interactive loan comparison tool USA Funds Loan Comparison, and the Web-based predictive modeling product retentionRT.
2Futuro The USA Funds-supported program 2Futuro will have its own booth, Number 418. An education finance and outreach program for Hispanic students and their parents, 2Futuro is a joint initiative of USA Funds and Sallie Mae.
Group loan counseling guidance Michelle Barcelo-Lopez of USA Funds University will conduct a presentation “Group Loan Counseling — What Is Required?” during financial aid business solutions seminars from 9-10:15 a.m. July 7 and from 1:15-2:30 p.m. July 8.
