Education Department Announces New Addresses for Submitting Audits

The U.S. Department of Education has advised lenders and lender-servicers of new addresses to which they should submit compliance audits. In a Feb. 19 “Notice of Change of Address,” the Department reported the following new addresses for sending the information by express and U.S. mail:

The Department also indicated that lenders should continue to send audits performed in accordance with Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133, Audits of Institutions of Higher Education and Other Nonprofit Institutions, to the Federal Audit Clearinghouse. In those mailings, lenders also should send a copy to one of the above-listed addresses.
