USA Funds Previews NASFAA-Conference Plans
During the July 5-8, 2006, conference of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators in Seattle, USA Funds® will highlight the ways that it helps financial-aid professionals “open doors of opportunity” for students.

Building on the conference’s theme, “Opening Doors of Educational Opportunity for 40 Years,” USA Funds’ exhibit booth will focus on how USA Funds’ industry-leading value-added products and services help open doors of opportunity. Among the highlighted services is USA Funds Connection®, a customized Web portal that links USA Funds school-customers to Web-based products and services, information resources and personal-productivity tools for the financial-aid office.
Also featured at the booth will be USA Funds Stafford Loan Guide, an online entrance-counseling tool that helps campus financial-aid offices conveniently meet federal loan-counseling requirements and provides students with memorable guidance about their rights and responsibilities as student-loan borrowers.
Demonstrations of these services, as well as OpenNet, one of the loan-delivery systems supported by USA Funds, will be available at the USA Funds booth, Number 401. The booth — which also will feature customer testimonials, Garfield mouse pads, “Financial Aid Administrators Open Doors of Opportunity!” bumper stickers, and the popular Garfield plushes — will be located by the front entrance to the conference exhibit hall. USA Funds also will award five $1,000 student scholarships to conference attendees.

Another USA Funds-supported program, 2Futuro, will have its own booth, Number 234, at the conference. An education-finance and outreach program for Hispanic students and their parents, 2Futuro is a joint initiative of USA Funds and Sallie Mae. Conference attendees will get a sneak preview of 2Futuro, the only Spanish-first, bilingual loan program with dedicated customer-service support to students, parents and financial-aid administrators.
The 2Futuro booth will feature the 2Futuro bilingual Web site and three $1,000 scholarships.
