Four Free Retention Workshops Set for September

USA Funds® and the enrollment management consulting firm Noel-Levitz will offer free, one-day retention workshops in four cities across the country in September. The workshops, “Meeting Student Retention Goals in a Struggling Economy,” will provide timely and practical ideas for ensuring students stay enrolled to complete their educational goals.

Consultants from USA Funds and Noel-Levitz will present the workshops, offering proactive strategies for decreasing attrition, addressing students’ growing anxieties about their finances, and effectively prioritizing campus initiatives.

Senior-level management and other executive teams are invited to participate. Registrants receive free access to online resources and handouts to share with those who are unable to attend.

The agenda includes discussion of:

  • Retention management in tough economic times.
  • Helping students and families manage college costs.
  • Retaining students who are on the fence about continuing in school.
  • Top 10 ways to engage your campus in student success strategies.

Workshops will begin with check-in at 8:30 a.m. and adjourn at 3 p.m., following a period of questions and answers. The following are the dates and cities for the upcoming retention workshops:

  • Sept. 22 — Dallas.
  • Sept. 23 — Baltimore.
  • Sept. 24 — Houston.
  • Sept. 29 — Jackson, Miss.
