Operations BulletinLenders Should Continue to Use Current Consolidation Application The current Federal Consolidation Loan Application and Promissory Note and the accompanying common loan-consolidation forms are scheduled to expire today, Oct. 31, 2006. The U.S. Department of Education has confirmed that the expiration date of the forms will be extended until revised forms are approved and distributed. Lenders may continue to use existing forms until the publication of revised forms. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the application and promissory note from the USA Funds Web site.
