Amy
Grubbs has earned a reputation for outstanding customer service — and her work
last year handling a number of high-priority requests simultaneously shows
why.
Grubbs, a manger in electronic-services-product support,
responded to requests from CollegeServ representatives to assist with
technology-related issues for schools including the University of Northwestern
Ohio.
“Amy took ownership of all the issues, including pulling
files and reports,” noted CollegeServ Manager Stacy Wriston. “She conducted
conference calls to explain system issues, participated in school calls to walk
the schools through the issues, and answered information-technology
questions.
“All the while, Amy was calm and organized.”
For the University of Northwestern Ohio, Grubbs and her
team helped identify possible issues with the school’s Financial-Aid-Management
System. At the same time, they helped a school identify accounts that needed
attention, and helped the school with those accounts. And they helped another
school in file recovery.
Wriston, who nominated Grubbs for a USA Funds® “There for You” award, said, “Amy is an exemplary
employee and leader. She always ensures that her team follows up with issues and
leads them by example.
In recognition of her excellent service, Grubbs received
a 2006 Manager of the Year award through the USA Funds “There for You” award
program.
If you have received superior customer service from USA
Funds, you can nominate the employee who delivered the
service to receive recognition for being “There for
You.”
