Smith received a USA Funds “There for You” award for his outstanding service to customers as a lender-relations representative.

Lender-Operations Manager Elaine Yednak nominated Smith for the honor, noting two examples of Smith’s willingness to “go out of his way for lenders.”

Smith coordinated a number of processing changes for College Loan Corp., ensuring that the changes were completed promptly and accurately. He worked to provide quick and complete operational answers to College Loan Corp.’s questions.

“Dave provided excellent lender support,” says Nita Focareta, account manager for College Loan Corp. “He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and had a great attitude.”

Smith worked diligently to help USA Funds’ lender-relations manager, Brent Dove, resolve another lender’s issue involving serial Master Promissory Notes. While Smith conducted thorough research to help find a solution, he kept USA Funds’ staff apprised of his actions and progress.

Smith now serves in financial-institution sales as a client-services representative.
